The National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammi Awuku together with the National Youth Organizer of the party Henry Nana Boakye stormed the Western Region to meet party youth and supporters to address some disagreements that took place a couple of days ago.
On his Facebook wall, Mr. Awuku reiterated how he and some party executives help to bring peace and calm situation at some places in the Western Region after a clash between the party youth and officials of the Forestry Commission, culminating in a press conference organized by the youth to level several allegations against the chiefs in some areas.
The trio, National Organizer, National Youth Organizer and National Nasara Coordinator visited Sehwi Wiawso, Akontombra as well as the Bia East and West constituencies where they also called on the chiefs and elders in the various communities and apologized for the unfortunate comments made by the aggrieved party youth against them.

“This morning I was joined by the National Youth Organizer and National Nasara Coordinator to engage the youth and supporters of the NPP in Sehwi Wiawso, Akontombra, Bia East and Bia West. Our first hand inquisition revealed that what happened some days ago when the Forestry Commision and its task force clashed with the supporters and activists of our party, led to the unfortunate Press conference by some aggrieved Party Executives.
We also took turn to call on the Chiefs and Elders of these areas to apologize for the unfortunate comments made against them by these aggrieved supporters.
We are determined to ensure our party supporters work in harmony with Agencies of State and also to support our Govt to deliver on its mandate. “
