In a remarkable display of honesty and integrity, Mr Salifu Ibrahim, a worker with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) under Zoomlion Ghana Limited (ZL), has been widely praised for returning a staggering GH₵20,000 to its rightful owner in Tamale, Northern Region.

The incident, which has been lauded as a shining example of moral rectitude, occurred when Salifu Ibrahim found the large sum of money. Instead of keeping it for himself, he chose to track down the owner and return the funds.

When asked about his decision, Salifu Ibrahim stated, “It was against my religion to take something which is not mine.”

The owner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, expressed profound gratitude for this exceptional act of honesty.

“I am overwhelmed with joy and appreciation for this selfless act,” the owner said.

Salifu Ibrahim’s noble action has earned him widespread acclaim, with many calling for him to be rewarded for his integrity and exemplary character.
