Voltic Ghana gets ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 certifications
Voltic Ghana Limited (Voltic) is ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 certified. The mineral water brand presently becomes the only water company in Ghana with FSSC 22000 Certification.
ISO 9001 defines the international standard that specifies the requirements for Quality Management Systems. While the FSSC 22000 is a fully recognized certification system by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) demonstrating a company’s robust Food Safety Management System based on ISO standards.
Having served the Ghanaian consumer with quality refreshing natural mineral water in the past 25years, Voltic went through the rigorous ISO- 9001and FSSC 22000 audits in 2019 as a testament of the company’s use of standards to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Mr. Simon Everest, MD of Voltic commenting on the documentation stated, ISO certification is indeed a rigorous but an important process that entrenches our aim to ensure the supply of quality refreshment to the Ghanaian customers and consumers.
It is undeniably an exciting welcome gift to me as I take on the responsibility as the new MD of the company.
Beyond its new Twist Bottle (with less 7% plastics) and the company’s commitment towards recycling, Voltic has more exciting offerings in the pipeline and will build upon the gains for the ISO and FSSC 22000 certifications to drive its quality offerings as expected by consumers since its establishment in 1995.
